Helping Seniors In Need

As you know, Shanna and I are part of MAPS Charities, a Los Angeles-based volunteer organization that offers assistance to LA County seniors living below the poverty line. The charity kicks off fundraising each year by hosting 400 senior care professionals for a luncheon at the Skirball Cultural Center. Proceeds provide much needed products and services to qualifying seniors - everything from eye glasses to plumbing repairs and more. Fundraising efforts continue throughout the year and this year, with COVID effecting all of us, and especially our elders, Senior Resources, Inc. and Suddenly65 have joined forces to make protective masks with helpful messaging - Got Mask?
